This lifestyle brings neighbors together for fun and festivities year-round!About The RoleThe Executive Director serves as an integral part of the leadership of the community, acting as advisor to the Board and volunteer committees regarding policies and procedures and creating a variety of social opportunities to promote and maintain a true sense of community. They will play a crucial role influencing and providing leadership and strategic direction for the community.What You’ll AccomplishResponsible for the leadership, administration, financial, operational, and technical oversight of the community, staff, and service contractors, with daily interaction with community residents and volunteersFacilitates orientation and training of the Board and committee members, as well as long range planning and annual goal settingServes as liaison between the association and other entities, which can include the developer, builders, sub-associations, commercial parcels, club facilities and schools or public facilities, and may extend to municipal departments and other community associationsResponsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising, training and mentoring employees to develop skills necessary to advance within the community and CCMCThis position owns the accountability for adhering to any applicable policies, procedures, state laws, as well as the CCMC management contract Serve the community by creating a variety of opportunities to promote and maintain a true sense of communityManages the preparation of all annual budgets, reserve studies and variance reportsFacilitates long-range planning and annual goal settingLeads the execution of board-approved projectsWhat We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have PCAM and at least seven years’ experience in on-site large-scale community association managementBachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, public administration or a related fieldRobust operational background and understanding of community financials Ability to build relationships through the highest level of customer service, sophistication and professionalismOne or more highest level of nationally recognized certifications or designations, e.g. Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), MBA or Master’s degreeAbility to successfully engage on a variety of levels, including speaking and writingEffective leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution skillsExtensive knowledge of laws and guidelines governing the operation of community associations and governing documents (highly preferred)Proficient computer skills in Windows environmentMust pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle check, and credit check. CAM license required upon hire in Nevada, Florida and Georgia (within 90 days of hire in all other states)The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing.
