Location: Richland, WASalary: $50.00 USD Hourly - $58.00 USD HourlyDescription: Job Title:Senior / Principal Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) Engineer - Advanced Nuclear(Note: Position is open at multiple levels; only one role will be filled based on candidate fit.)Location:Onsite - Pacific Northwest, USA(Relocation or remote not supported; per diem not available)Summary:We are seeking an experienced Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) Engineer to support advanced nuclear reactor projects, including new reactor technologies and large-scale construction efforts. This role involves performing highly complex probabilistic risk assessments, supporting licensing and construction activities, and providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PRA/PSA methodologies, strong knowledge of NRC regulations and industry standards, and experience supporting owners' engineering activities, design reviews, and construction oversight for nuclear facilities. The position requires working independently with minimal supervision while serving as a technical advisor and mentor to other engineers.Required / Mandatory Skills:Strong experience in Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) / Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) methodologiesKnowledge of industry PRA standards, including ASME/ANS RA-S-1.4Experience with:Initiating event analysisEvent sequence analysisUncertainty and sensitivity analysesPlant operating state definitionAbility to interpret and apply results from PSA/PRA codesExperience reviewing and interpreting regulatory and industry guidance (e.g., NRC, NEI, EPRI)Familiarity with Seismic PRA and Fire PRAExperience supporting large, complex engineering or construction projectsAbility to work independently and provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidanceStrong documentation, review, and technical communication skillsQualification:Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution plus a minimum of 1 year of engineering experienceORHigh School Diploma / GED with an active Professional Engineer (PE) license and minimum 1 year of engineering experienceExperience or exposure to advanced or new nuclear reactor technologies (e.g., non-LWR designs) is highly preferredFamiliarity with NEI 18-04 and transient/accident analysis is a plusBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
