Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our fleet facility shop in West Dundee, IL.Shift: Full-Time l Midday-Monday-Friday 12:00PM-8:30PMPay: $31-$36.00/HR based on experience/qualificationsIncentive Pay-$1.00 additionally with active license CDL A or B-Not required for roleWhy work for Reyes Fleet Management?4 Weeks paid time off + Holiday payYearly performance raisesASE Incentive Pay (up to $2.00 additionally with ASE Certifications)Career advancement opportunities401K and Company paid Life InsuranceReferral bonuses and Reyes Reward programHealth, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plans$400 Tool & Boot annual payout & Paid UniformsGreat work culture and clean facilitiesFinancial and wellness discounts and much more!!!Position Responsibilities:Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management systemDiagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicableCompletes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervisionAdhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practicesThis position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse reviewSome travel may be requiredOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED with 3 plus years of related experienceMust possess own toolsValid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehiclesValid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locationsAbility to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 poundsPreferred Education and Experience:Technical School Certification
