Summary Of PositionResponsible for servicing guests and preparing beverage orders and courteously and efficiently serve food and beverages to guests in the food and beverage outlets including the restaurant, bar and outlets. Responsible for maintenance of bar area and support the restaurant food servers, bartenders, and cocktail servers.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurants, in accordance with service standardsAnticipate Guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all Guests, making recommendations from guests’ preferencesTake Guests’ food and beverage orders, utilizing suggestive selling techniquesComplete opening duties as assigned, including check quality and quantity of all bar stock and supplies using checklistRequisition all necessary supplies and transport from storeroom to barSet bar according to service standardsSet up all condiments (garnishes, juices, etc.) and beverages according to standardsPrepare all fresh fruit garnishes according to service standardsEnsure a sufficient supply of all flatware, glassware, and chinaware for serviceEnsure cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areasSet upside stations with supplies and equipmentRecord orders of guests into the point-of-sale system and receive payment following service proceduresAdhere to payment, cash handling and credit policiesOpen wine/champagne bottles and serve in accordance with service standardsRetrieve food orders from kitchenMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areasGuide the activities of the bar back to ensure optimum service to GuestsRemove soiled wares from the bar.
