Job Description: As an Optician Pre-tester, you will play a crucial role in the patient care process by performing preliminary testing and assessments to aid optometrists. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will help ensure a positive experience for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct preliminary eye tests, including autorefraction, and tonometry. Assist patients in understanding the testing process and what to expect. Record and maintain accurate patient data and test results. Ensure the testing area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Educate patients about eye health and the importance of regular eye examinations. Support the optical team with additional tasks as needed. Qualifications: Previous experience in an optometric or medical office is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
