This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.Role and ResponsibilitiesCompletes component-level repairs (capacitor, resistors, etc.)Tests, troubleshoots and diagnoses basic system failuresConducts visual mechanical inspection of units, components (LCD, Motherboards, etc.) and/or subcomponents.Performs computer data entry using Microsoft Excel and/or internal databases including production systemsFollows procedures and diagrams in performing engineering change ordersLearns and uses new processes and procedures for the MLB repair lineResponsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their departmentMay perform other duties as assignedEducation, Training and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1 or more years of experience in electronics repair, failure analysis, and diagnosisIntermediate skills in through-hole solderingFamiliar with surface mount technologyAbility to read and interpret schematics/block diagrams with detailed understanding of computer and subassembly functionalityAbility to use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes & multi-meters, etc.)Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure quality requirements are metIntermediate English abilities requiredBasic Excel knowledgeExperience using hand power toolsIntermediate knowledge of computer hardwareFamiliarity with continuous improvement methods preferredMust be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervisionAbility to follow documented procedures, standards and policiesExcellent time-management skillsWorking Conditions And Essential Abilities & FunctionsWarehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.Push/pull up to 10 lbs.Frequent sitting, bending, and twistingOccasional stooping or crouchingUse of small hand toolsCSAT Solutions LP is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age or other legally protected status.#hireCSAT
