We’re hiring a Yard Laborer in Texas If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and tackling a variety of maintenance and landscaping tasks, we want to hear from you!You will help keep the concrete plant clean, safe, and running efficiently by taking on a variety of maintenance, groundskeeping, and support tasks.What You Will Be DoingPerform general groundskeeping and facility maintenance, including sweeping and shoveling debris from production areasMonitor production belts for hazards and remove obstructions as neededMaintain dust control and ensure compliance with EPA and environmental standardsHandle landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, weed control, and shrub removalComplete housekeeping duties including stocking supplies, taking out trash, and painting as requiredOperate heavy equipment such as a bobcat, forklift, or loader when neededConduct regular safety inspections to identify and report potential hazardsSupport maintenance and inspection activities as directedPerform other tasks and duties as assignedWhat We Would Like From YouAbility to work outdoors independently while performing manual laborSkilled in operating heavy equipment and landscaping toolsStrong ability to organize and prioritize daily tasksExperience in a plant or industrial environment preferredHigh school diploma or GED equivalent would be considered an assetLocation and other key details: This is a full-time permanent field-based position at our Aledo Plant) 1159 Underwood Rd., Aledo, Texas.Position involves working 8-hour shifts with weekend hours as necessaryLess than 10% travel, required only as neededRegular outdoor work with exposure to a range of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snowFrequent exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, moving equipment, and materials such as oil, dust, and aggregatesRole requires standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, reaching, and continuous use of hands and visionAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 20 lbs regularlyUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, vests, glasses, ear protection, and hard hats required; additional PPE required for specific tasks including welding or repairsWhy BURNCO?
