Proven work experience as a research assistant, business analyst, or similar roleExcellent administrative skillsKnowledge of research methodsAbility to work under pressureExcellent time management skillsProficient in data analysis and interpretation of complex research findingsDesired Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have experience with Congressional research or policy studies, preferably in energy-related topics, and possess superior communication and organizational skills to effectively liaise with government agencies, industry partners, and academic collaborators. Experience responding to congressional queries as well as conducting studies and research. Familiarity with Congressionally Directed Actions.Experience working with congressional staffers or drafting legislative correspondence. Strong understanding of electrical power systems and related regulatory issuesA degree in the field related to the studyFamiliarity with federal nuclear energy regulations and compliance requirements
