Senior Architect

TRC's client is seeking an Architect to lead the technical design and documentation of architectural projects from concept through construction documents. This role serves as a key technical resource, driving design solutions, coordinating project requirements, and contributing strong code and planning expertise throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLead project design and define architectural requirements appropriate to each projectGuide projects from concept and schematic design through design development and construction documentationInvestigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutionsPrepare and/or oversee finished plans, specifications, material selections, and construction documentationConduct site investigations and field observationsAttend and lead internal and external project meetingsMay supervise or mentor architects and coordinate with other professionals supporting project workPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited college or universityRegistered Architect required8+ years of architectural experienceProficiency in RevitStrong communication and presentation skillsStrong detailing ability, planning experience, and knowledge of building codes and regulationsAble to work independently with general direction and expected outcomesSkilled at building internal and external relationships and understanding client decision-making processesPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in ArchitectureLEED Accredited ProfessionalExperience with Newforma, Deltek Vision, SketchUp, and InDesignProficiency with Microsoft Office applications
