You will actively make improvements of processes, systems, and products to enhance the performance of your team. The ideal candidate will have passion for the patients we serve and an unrelenting desire to improve our business and help our people grow.Medtronic seeks candidates who will meet our customer applications by striving without reserve for the highest possible reliability and quality in our products, processes and system by being accountable, having a voice and taking action.Please note this role does work on-site in the manufacturing area.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the development and implementation of training (s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.Prioritizes training schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.Plans and administers procedures and budgets, trains on skills and procedures.Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.Management Skills: Lead and motivate new employees, Train and Develop People, Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.Responsible for providing trained personnel to production per timelines and with using the site training methodology.This position will be required to sit onsite at 880 Technology Park Drive, Billerica, MA 01821 and work a Monday through Friday 2:30-11pm EST schedule. Required QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience1+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalentPreferred QualificationsExperience in or with training and onboarding.Likes to lead groups and drive engagement. PR) locations (USD):$68,800.00 - $103,200.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
