Production Press Assistant Manager

Production Press Assistant Manager (Bilingual Korean Required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture\nand is seeking for a Production Press Assistant Manager.\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProduction Planning & Coordination\n * Assist with production scheduling and shift planning to meet customer\n requirements.\n * Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when necessary to minimize\n downtime.\n * Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to ensure seamless press\n line operation.\n\nDocumentation & Reporting\n * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly press production reports (output, scrap,\n downtime, OEE).\n * Maintain accurate records of press operations, production logs, and employee\n attendance.\n * Track KPI performance and report to Production Manager and senior leadership.\n\nProcess & Data Management\n * Support implementation of production tracking systems (ERP/MES).\n * Collect and analyze production data for efficiency and cost improvement\n opportunities.\n * Ensure documentation compliance with IATF/ISO standards and internal\n policies.\n\nTeam Support & Administration\n * Provide administrative support for the press department (work orders,\n purchase requests, training records, etc.).\n * Assist in onboarding/training coordination for press operators and office\n staff.\n * Support manpower planning, shift coverage, and overtime scheduling.\n\nContinuous Improvement\n * Identify opportunities to improve press production efficiency, reduce\n downtime, and minimize waste.\n * Support Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.\n * Assist with corrective actions related to production quality or safety\n issues.\n\nOther Duties\n * Assist Production Press Manager with special projects, presentations, and\n audits.\n * Act as point of contact for interdepartmental communication when the manager\n is unavailable.\n\n\nQualifications\n * Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing\n Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.\n * Experience: 3-5 years in automotive manufacturing or production management;\n stamping/press experience strongly preferred.\n\nKnowledge/Skills:\n * Understanding of press/stamping processes and production workflows.\n * Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems).\n * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and KPI management.\n * Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.\n * Strong communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.\n * Language: English required; Korean language skills a plus.
