Job DescriptionThe Product Development Coordinator/Sr. Product Development Coordinator supports and executes the seasonal product development process for Apparel and Gift, owning key aspects of development from concept through production readiness. This role is responsible for managing sample development, driving factory communication, maintaining accurate development documentation, and ensuring product readiness aligns with timelines and margin expectations.The Product Development Coordinator/Sr. Product Development Coordinator partners closely with Design, Planning, and Production to ensure development milestones are achieved, product specifications are accurate, and collections are delivered on time and ready for production.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development ExecutionOwn execution of seasonal development for assigned product categories based on target SKU counts provided by PlanningSend specs and tech packs to factories for quoting and sampling, ensuring clarity and completenessManage sample development from initial request through final approvalProactively track and drive development timelines, ensuring milestones are met and risks are identified earlyFactory Communication & Sample ManagementServe as a primary point of contact for factories during the development processCommunicate sample requests, timelines, and revisions clearly and consistentlyFollow up with factories to ensure on-time sample delivery and resolve delays or issuesPartner with Design and Product Development leadership to manage feedback and revisionsLead sample review coordination and support approval decision-makingDevelopment Documentation & Cross-Functional CoordinationOwn and maintain Development WIP documents across Apparel and Gift categoriesEnsure all development stages, updates, and changes are accurately documented and communicatedReview and validate product documentation including specs, catalogs, and line sheets for accuracy and completenessEnsure product details align with approved specifications prior to production handoffPartner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless transition from development to productionSuccess in This RoleProactive ownership of development timelines and deliverablesStrong and consistent factory communication with minimal follow-up requiredHigh level of accuracy in development documentation and product detailsAbility to manage multiple styles and deadlines simultaneouslySmooth, efficient handoff from development to production with minimal errors or reworkQualifications2–5+ years of experience in product development, production, or a related roleExperience working with overseas factories and managing sample timelinesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Excel and development tracking tools preferred
