The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member who brings creativity, high expectations, and a genuine passion for elementary education to our school community.Position Type: Full -Time, 10-Month, Tenure TrackLocation: Ho-Ho-Kus Public School, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJReports To: PrincipalKey ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) for elementary-age students.Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and social-emotional growth.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, and English Language Learners.Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instructional decisions.Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, grades, and performance.Communicate proactively and effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.Collaborate with grade-level colleagues, specialists, and support staff as part of a professional learning community.Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide events.Fulfill all additional duties as assigned by the Principal in accordance with district policy.Qualifications & RequirementsValid New Jersey Standard Certificate in Elementary Education (K5 or K6), or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date.Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required; Master's degree preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices in elementary education, curriculum design, and child development.Strong classroom management skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.Experience with Google Workspace for Education and/or educational technology preferred.Prior student teaching or classroom experience at the elementary level preferred.How to ApplyInterested candidates should apply online through Frontline.
