Software Engineer The Customer Data Technology group within CLIENT's Personal Investing (PI) organization is seeking a Software Engineer to build the next generation Customer Data Platform in the cloud. Our team provides data capabilities to personalize incredible customer experiences and develop solutions that drive a lifetime of engagement. You'll be building REST APIs and the underlying data solutions.The Expertise We're Looking For 5+ years of JAVA/J2EE experience3-4 years of experience in building REST APIsUnderstanding of microservices architectureExperience with messaging technologies especially Kafka a big plus.Experience with integrating APIs with backends like OracleExperience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery – Maven and JenkinsExperience with containerizing applications using DockerExperience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plusAny experience in developing data applications in Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plusThe Skills You Bring Proven ability to work independently with limited supervisionAbility to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills, both through written and verbal channelsExcellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organizationSafety is our top priority.
