Mechanical Project Manager
RMF Engineering, Inc. a national engineering firm, is currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer with proven experience designing HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing mechanical systems in the higher education, public safety, municipal and/or healthcare market sectors for our growing Charlotte, NC office.Position Description:The Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer will lead and work as part of the Division's design team in all facets of higher education and healthcare building engineering. The Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer will develop and manage all aspects of complex design projects involving mechanical and electrical systems, including:Lead and grow mechanical design teamsDevelop project proposals, project plans, manpower plans, budgets, schedules, negotiate fees, change orders, contracts, and overall QA/QC management. Provide project managerial guidance and technical directions to team members including mechanical engineers/designers. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Act as a liaison between the client, other design professionals, and the RMF design team. Develop and maintain correspondence between the RMF design team, the client, and other design professionalsEnsure timely and complete information flow to the appropriate individuals and teams. Perform advanced engineering calculationsProvide code and design expertise and analysis on complex projects when required within their technical area of expertise.
