CarePlus TLC is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, CNA/Home Health Aid with a passion for serving others to join our team!This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. The successful candidate is self-motivated, reliable, compassionate, and committed to creating a positive experience in our client's livesOur staff creates a friendly, caring environment to ensure our clients receive the quality of care and assistance they need to maintain their independence and quality of life in their home.We have clients located around the greater Grand Rapids area in need of care.Available shifts vary from 2-8 hours Sunday-Saturday. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care for our patient/clients by matching people with meaningful, long-lasting, and enjoyable careers, not just a job.Responsibilities: Monitor patient's condition and report changes/concerns to appropriate medical professionals and family membersProvide Activities of Daily Living care as outlined in the Care Plan-bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.Transfers patient with equipment using appropriate safety measures (gait belt, hoyer-lift, sit-to-stand lifts)Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean-living space for clients. Ability to turn and reposition patientsUnderstands First Aid and Emergency Care protocolsComplete electronic documentation while on shiftMedication remindersSkills:Familiarity with Home Health Care, safety and sanitation standards and proceduresUnderstanding of Confidentiality and Privacy LawsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills… able to communicate effectively with patients and their families.Knowledge of basic medical terminologyDetailed orientedAbility to turn and reposition patientsAbility to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work as a team memberCompassionate and able to handle tough situations as needed1 year experience as a Nurse/CNA/Home Health AidCarePlus TLC is a locally owned small business with a desire to give back to our communities in impactful ways!
