Technician - Maintenance FARE
DescriptionPosition Summary The Maintenance Technician performs routine facility repairs, basic HVAC/electrical work, and preventive maintenance across assigned branches to keep buildings safe, compliant, and operational. The role coordinates with vendors for larger repairs, closes work orders, and partners with the company’s Property Managers to prioritize work by business impact.Position Duties/ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:Facility Maintenance & RepairMinor construction and repairs (doors, hardware, lighting/ballasts/lamps, ceiling tiles, flooring, painting, basic plumbing)Perform basic HVAC tasks (filter changes, belt replacement, simple diagnostics/adjustments) and support vendor PMs.Execute basic electrical tasks within scope and qualification (e.g., 120/277V lighting components) following safety procedures. Preventative Maintenance Plans & Work OrdersExecute scheduled PM tasks and document results in the facility maintenance programTriage, plan, and complete corrective work ordersIdentify recurring issues and recommend fix?forward actions to reduce emergency calloutsVendor & Project CoordinationParking lot maintenance.Coordinate and oversee service vendors for specialized repairs (HVAC, overhead doors, signage, paving, etc.); verify scope completion and quality.Support small facility projects and site readiness activities in collaboration with Property Managers.Additional ResponsibilitiesProvide pick-up and delivery service for all MacAllister facilities as neededAid in the setup and supervision of meetings and company functions, including golf outings, company picnics and service award eventsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNo formal responsibility for supervising othersRequiredPosition RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent3 years or more of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent fieldPreferred5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent fieldHVAC certificationExperience working at a multi-site facilityKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
