About the Opportunity:The IT Manager - Data & Analytics Platform Operations leads the daily management and strategic direction of enterprise data and analytics platforms. This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of data services that support organizational objectives, driving operational excellence and modernization initiatives. The position plays a key role in aligning platform operations with business priorities and fostering innovation within the data and analytics ecosystem.3. Responsibilities:Lead daily operations and support for enterprise data, analytics, reporting, integration, and cloud platformsEnsure platform availability, performance, reliability, and scalabilityEstablish and monitor operational metrics, SLAs, KPIs, and service dashboardsManage incident response, problem management, root cause analysis, and recovery activitiesOversee platform maintenance, upgrades, patching, release management, and governanceImplement best practices for observability, monitoring, resilience, and service managementEnsure compliance with security, regulatory, audit, and operational standardsManage demand intake, work prioritization, resource allocation, and operational planningEstablish governance frameworks, standards, documentation, controls, and proceduresMonitor risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plansProvide executive reporting and performance updatesLead and develop a team of engineers and support personnel, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environmentSet objectives, performance expectations, and career development plansManage staffing, succession planning, and professional developmentBuild partnerships with business leaders, product teams, and technology stakeholdersFacilitate platform adoption and user experience improvementsCollaborate with cloud, infrastructure, data engineering, security, architecture, and automation teamsServe as escalation point for platform issues and service improvementsCommunicate roadmaps, status, risks, and progress to leadershipSupport cloud transformation and platform modernization initiativesIdentify automation opportunities and improve service efficiencyDevelop operational analytics and performance reportingAlign platform strategy with organizational goals and industry best practicesManage budgets, vendor spend, licensing, and operational expensesMonitor resource utilization and ensure effective allocationSupport business case development for platform enhancementsPerform other duties as assigned4. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent education and work experienceMinimum 6 years of IT experience supporting enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, integration, or data platform technologiesAt least 2 years of leadership or people management experienceEligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipStrong knowledge of business intelligence and analytics platforms, data integration and ETL technologies, data warehousing, cloud data platforms, incident/change/problem management, and operational governanceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving and business analysis skillsAbility to lead teams through changing priorities5.
