Senior Director of Polymers

Responsible for the research, development and formulation optimisation of polymer materials such as polyolefins (PPR/PE/PVC); leads efforts to enhance material performance, improve processes and scale up pilot-scale operations, ensuring products meet the stringent requirements of applications such as water supply and drainage, and gas distribution.Undertakes research, feasibility studies and the initiation and implementation of forward-looking R&D projects; monitors cutting-edge technological developments in the field of polymer materials; and promotes collaboration between industry, academia and research institutions, as well as the commercialisation of scientific and technological achievements.Lead the design and validation of experimental protocols for polymer synthesis and modification; utilise analytical methods such as rheology, mechanics and thermodynamics to establish structure-property relationship models; and resolve key technical challenges in production and application.Manage the full lifecycle of R&D projects; prepare project plans, monitor progress, draft technical reports and patent application materials; and coordinate cross-departmental resources to ensure the efficient achievement of R&D objectives.
