Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. This role involves delivering high-quality food and beverage service, maintaining excellent customer relations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Experience in fine dining, food handling, and restaurant operations is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. Responsibilities Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover. Provide attentive guest service, addressing needs promptly and professionally to ensure a memorable dining experience. Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed. Manage guest relations by creating a welcoming environment in fine dining settings. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining. Familiarity with POS systems including Clover is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales performance. Previous experience in host/host roles or serving at restaraunts is a plus but not required.
