The Charge Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing supervision of nursing and support staff on the assigned shift in a correctional setting. Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range physical, psychological, and social needs patients. Day, evening and night shifts available. FT, PT, PRN shifts also available.QualificationsAssociate's degree requiredActive RN license to practice in Maryland.Current tuberculosis documentation.Active BLS/CPR.Ability to pass a criminal background clearance and drug screenMinimum of one year of work experience as an RN preferred in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred.Corrections experience preferred
