We thrive on moving fast, delivering value, and living our values of being bold, humble, and accountable.We are seeking passionate engineers with at least 8+ years of experience delivering innovative software solutions that are scalable, secure, and easy to maintain. The ideal candidate thrives in team settings, enjoys collaboration and mentoring engineers, and focuses on delivering value and making an impact.Location: This role requires 2-3 days a week in office in San Francisco, CA.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain web applications with customer domain-specific business logicCommunicate with stakeholders, including Architects, Tech Leads, Product, and Design teams to deliver customer and business valueMentor junior engineers and guide the team on internal/external frameworks, best practices, and new technologiesDevelop concise, detailed, and articulate technical documentationLeverage Agile and Lean practicesLead a workstream, partner with Product on requirements, define technical requirements, and plan actionable tasksDesign, build, and maintain automated tests (unit and integration as needed) to ensure high code qualitySupport healthy system operations and ensure high availabilityQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience8+ years of software engineering experienceExperience as a technical lead for a product engineering teamExpertise building APIs with C# and .NETExperience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, or similar architectural patternsStrong knowledge of SQL / relational databasesExperience contributing to and interpreting system designProven track record of teamwork and deliveryExperience in fintech or financial services, including familiarity with regulatory considerationsPreferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)Experience with KYC (Know Your Customer) workflowsExperience with multiple server-side programming languagesExperience with TDD (Test Driven Development) or DDD (Domain Driven Development)Experience with Marten (Event Store DB)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processesExperience building and scaling systems to millions of users (text truncated in original)For residents of San Francisco, CA the annual salary range for this role is $209,000-$240,000 annual bonus.
