Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role (Austin, TX location with some work from home flexibility) for a Remote Patient Monitoring/Chronic Care Management Medical Assistant. The responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals and health data, managing RPM devices and logistics, coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure timely patient follow-ups, engaging with patients to provide support and address questions, and ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory guidelines. The Medical Assistant will also assist in maintaining accurate records relevant to patient care and reporting. Qualifications Proficiency in managing and handling medical devices, including remote monitoring systemsStrong organizational skills and attention to accurate record-keepingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist and educate patients effectivelyTechnical skills, including familiarity with health applications and software monitoring toolsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environmentCertification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent healthcare qualification is preferredExperience in telehealth or remote patient monitoring is a strong advantageUnderstanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy
