Position: Senior Java Full Stack Engineer - IT Operations Automation
Location: Austin, TX - Onsite
Employment Type: W2 Only
Rate:
$50-$53/hour on W2Key Requirements 5+ years of production experience with Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security, Spring Data, and transaction management.3+ years of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, hooks, state management, and data grids. Strong Linux, Shell Scripting, Ansible, and Splunk experience. Hands-on Oracle & PostgreSQL, complex SQL, PL/SQL, query tuning, indexing, transactions, locking, and database consistency. Experience building production automation workflows with retries, idempotency, checkpointing, failure recovery, and rollback. Experience automating operational activities such as credential rotation, patching, certificate renewal, or failover with proper validation and recovery. Experience with Service Now or similar ITSM APIs, including incidents, change requests, and approvals. Strong understanding of unit/integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
