Responsibilities flex across these domains based on team needs, project priorities, and individual strengths. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong technical fundamentals, and the ability to contribute meaningfully across multiple stages of production.Job DutiesCareer level position that applies advanced and specialized expertise of an administrative or technical nature. May assign tasks and provide guidance to lower level colleagues.Additional Job DutiesCollaborates with leadership on design of A/V production environment and selection of equipment and digital toolsStays current with emerging AV technologies, tools, and industry best practices to consistently enhance and evolve internal A/V productions at ERCOTExercises discretion in build out of video production systems, workflows, and processesPartners with corporate communications on other creative productions such as podcasts and videosUses creative latitude to edit promotional cutdowns and short-form clips of video podcastsSupports live podcast recordings as needed, which may include camera operation, live switching, signal troubleshooting, or mix-minus setup.Manages metadata, tagging, and platform-specific optimization strategies for video podcastOversees distribution across platforms and ensure consistency in publishingMay assist the External Communications Manager with guest coordination, outreach, and schedulingCollaborates with the External Communications Manager to align messaging, positioning, and overall voice of each episode editSupports live audiovisual production for boardroom meetings and executive sessions, by operating remote PTZ cameras, assisting with switching, supporting audio workflows, and managing presentation software (e.g., ProPresenter)Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues in real time with minimal disruptionWorks creatively alongside the in-house videographer to capture internal events, key initiatives, and messaging contentAdapts responsibilities based on the creative and technical needs of each projectPossesses strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent prioritiesExperienceRequires minimum 5 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirementsRequires experience in videography, live production, and video editingRequires familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, ProPresenter, or similar platformsRequires working knowledge of live production workflows, including cameras, audio, and signal flowPrefer experience supporting high-profile events or live broadcastsRequires ability to lift 25 poundsRequires occasional business travel 3-4 times per yearEDUCATIONRequires associate’s degree in, Film/Media Production, Audio/Visual Technology, Broadcasting or related fieldor a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is requiredCERTIFICATIONN/AThe foregoing description reflects the minimum qualifications and the essential functions of the position that must be performed proficiently with or without reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
