Video Producer (Temporary)

What We Are Looking ForBaylor University's Learning Technologies team is seeking a temporary Video Producer to support our online graduate programs and online components of other courses. This position will develop and maintain the required specialized video production technical and operational expertise to support video content for university courses and complete other video projects within the Learning Technologies department. The Video Producer will work across a range of recording environments, studio and on location, and maintain a high level of production value. Role oversees all aspects of video production, from pre- to post-production. Reports to Manager, Academic Video Production.This is a temporary, 2-year assignment.A Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant work experience are required. A Master's degree and six years of relevant work experience are preferred.A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.* All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.What You Will DoProvide overall management of both studio and field-based video, audio and online projects through pre-production, production and post-production processes, including project management, audio and video recording, lighting, set design, graphic design, editing, archiving, and distributionWork collaboratively with colleagues across Learning Technologies as well as stakeholders in academic and other departments across campusAssist with studio and equipment maintenance and support, including purchasing, configuration, testing, troubleshooting and repairPartner with library and other personnel to author and provide video production training to faculty, staff and studentsParticipate in after-hours service opportunities requiring video productionSupervise a student team of video project leads and video assistantsEdit video programs using industry-standard, non-linear software applications, primarily Adobe Creative SuiteManage and organize file-based video and audio assets used in projectsRetouch videos, including color correction, graphics/animations, and timing music/sound to copyShoot video and record audio in-studio and in the fieldInput music, dialogues, graphics and effectsCreate rough and final cuts of video contentMaintain department's spaces, equipment, and processes to support video productionContribute to library media literacy initiative for uses of video and multimedia objectsAssist Learning Technologies with lecture capture and Kaltura video processesPerform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's missionAbility to comply with university policiesMaintain regular and punctual attendanceWhat You Can ExpectAs part of the Baylor family, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous time off, tuition remission, and outstanding automatic retirement contributions.
