Part Time Personal Trainer - Corporate Fitness
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Personal Trainer to provide on-site services at our 5-star Corporate Wellness Studio in Downtown San Francisco. This role works closely with the General Manager and the entire Cove team. They are responsible for delivering a high-quality, hospitality-driven fitness experience while building and growing the personal training program within the facility.The ideal person has flexible working hours, a passion for what they do and is interested in growing our PT program and build their own client base. Floor Supervision hours - $35-$40 (4 hours per week) - Wednesdays 3 pm - 7 pmPersonal Training Commissions - $35 - $50 per hourGroup fitness Classes - $65 per hour Compensation Structure:Personal training commission applies for sessions conducted on and off shiftTrainers are expected to build and manage their own client baseOpportunity to schedule personal training sessions outside of the weekly floor shiftOpportunity to teach group fitness classes outside of the required floor shift (based on site needs and manager approval)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Relationship Building & Member ExperienceBe present and approachable on the fitness floor while actively engaging with members during each shiftLearn members’ names, goals, and routines to create a personalized experienceCreate a welcoming, supportive environment that keeps members coming backIdentify opportunities to introduce members to personal training and programsConduct new member fitness consultationsPersonal Training GrowthBuild and maintain your own book of personal training clientsConvert floor interactions and consultations into ongoing training relationshipsDeliver thoughtful, individualized sessions that retain clients long-termContribute to the overall growth of the site’s personal training programFloor & Facility SupportMaintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked fitness centerAssist with member check-ins, account support, give new member tours, and general front desk needsSupport overall facility standards and take pride in the spaceProgramming & Team ContributionAssist with group fitness classes and wellness programming as neededSupport site events, activations, and initiativesCollaborate with the management team and contribute to a positive team environmentComplete all required reporting, including accurate payroll and session trackingSchedule & Structured ShiftsRequired Floor Shift: Wednesdays, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PMAdditional floor coverage and event support as neededCompensation StructurePersonal training commission applies for sessions conducted on and off shiftTrainers are expected to build and manage their own client baseOpportunity to schedule personal training sessions outside of the weekly floor shiftOpportunity to teach group fitness classes outside of the required floor shift (based on site needs and manager approval)Maximum of 29 total hours per weekSuccess in this role looks likeConsistently engaging members and being visible on the floorBuilding a growing and retained book of personal training clientsTaking ownership of the facility’s appearance and operationsBeing proactive, solving problems without waiting to be askedContributing to a strong, positive, team-first cultureMaintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance in line with company standards.Requirements:Current Personal Training Certification CPR/AED Certification Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently while supporting a team environment
