Production Control Planner - PkgScotts Valley Headquarters - Scotts Valley, CA 95066 OverviewSalary Range $19.00 - $22.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Category Strategy - Planning DescriptionSummary of Job Duties: Under limited supervision, support Production Control Department in performing a variety of functions in creating Travelers, expediting, report generation, and inventory control to ensure timely production of packaged finished goods from the Packaging Department. Specific Job Duties: Utilizing PKG Order / TOP 500 report and AFP requirements, analyze shelf stock inventory levels and sales history to develop and issue orders for Packaging Department and track orders to completion to meet Sales needs. Use Navision ERP system and AFP to research, plan, enter, and print production orders. Track bulk and label inventory levels to prioritize and expedite deliveries to prevent stock outs. Participate in Packaging production meetings to set priorities/schedules and update packaging priority list with updates on packaging status. Support the Production Control Department by performing clerical functions such as data entry, research, supply maintenance, and responding to Sales inquiries. Generate and distribute daily production priority and planning reports. Perform all other duties as requested by Threshold management. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Required: Ability to learn MS Dynamics NAV production planning systems and processes. Ability to cross train into other functional Production Control areas. One-year related experience in a planning, packaging, or distribution environment. Strong math and organizational skills necessary. Detail oriented with good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge and ability to utilize MS Excel/Word to generate reports/SOPs. Pass planning assessment test with 80% or better. Skills and/or Training Desired: Experience with MS Word/Excel/Access/SQL. Production planning, ERP/MRP systems, inventory control experience desired.
