A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - IMC/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM/n• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend coverage required/n• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends/n• Float required to Telemetry and Medical Surgical units as needed (these units have 1:5/1:6 ratios)/n• 2 years of nursing experience required/n• PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required/n• First-time travelers accepted/n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS/n• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms/n• Provide bedside monitoring for up to 8 patients/n• Work with cardiac monitoring, ultrasound IV, and lift equipment/n• Manage patients with diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, COPD/asthma, sepsis, pneumothorax, ESRD/dialysis, hypertension/hypotension, ETOH withdrawal, and general surgery/n• Perform special procedures including chest tubes, PCA infusions, and non-titratable drips/n• Caribbean blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)/n• Must have either compact license or Maryland license/n• No call responsibilities required/n• 24-hour orientation provided/n/nFacility:/nThis hospital is part of a comprehensive healthcare system that provides advanced medical services to the community.
