Job Description
The Business and Financial Systems Administrator is a technical, enterprise-focused role responsible for the administration, security, integration, and ongoing support of the Workday ERP platform, including Financial Management, Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Supply Chain, Capital Planning, and Time & Attendance. This role will also support additional third-party business applications. This position is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise data through effective security configuration, role-based access controls, audit support, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The Administrator partners closely with the business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design and maintain secure integrations, and develop accurate, actionable reporting and analytics across financial and human resource domains. The role supports the full system lifecycle, including configuration, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of Workday modules. A strong focus is placed on secure system design, scalable integrations, and reliable operational and executive reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
Experience
Experience administering or supporting an enterprise ERP or HCM platform, preferably Workday.
Experience with Workday security frameworks, including role-based access, business process security, and audit controls.
Experience supporting integrations between ERP systems and internal or external applications.
Experience developing or supporting financial, operational, and workforce reporting.
Proficiency with computers and enterprise business systems required.
Qualifications
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage system security, data governance, and compliance requirements.
Ability to translate business and functional requirements into secure system configurations, integrations, and reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong customer service orientation supporting internal users and external partners
