We're selective about who joins our team because our reputation is built on doing things right - for our customers and for each other.Pay$35.00 – $45.00 per hour(Based On Skills, Experience, Performance, And Ongoing Training Participation)ScheduleMonday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)Some on‑call responsibility for occasional emergency supportOccasional nights, weekends, and overtime as requiredWillingness to travel as neededPrimary ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, repairs, and installations on commercial building automation systems in accordance with company standardsTroubleshoot and service BAS components, including:DDC and pneumatic controlsTemperature and pressure sensorsTransducers, transmitters, and relaysMotor starters and related control devicesAssist HVAC technicians and mechanics with BAS‑related projects and service workManage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while adapting to changing prioritiesCommunicate job status, findings, and recommendations to customers and internal team membersProvide feedback to the Building Automation Manager regarding:Job progressCustomer feedbackTraining needsInventory and system requirementsComplete service documentation accurately and on time using company softwareMaintain a professional appearance and represent the company well on customer sitesReports ToBuilding Automation ManagerRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of combined trade school and/or related field experienceWorking knowledge of commercial HVAC and building automation systemsAbility to troubleshoot electrical and control system componentsComfortable working independently while coordinating with other techniciansAbility to handle multiple responsibilities and shift priorities as neededProficient with basic computer applications, including:Microsoft WordExcelOutlookPowerPointWillingness to travel and work overtime as requiredPreferred ExperienceExperience with Niagara 4 frameworkFamiliarity or certification with BAS platforms such as:Johnson Controls (JCI)HoneywellVykonDistechWhy Work at West TechsCompetitive hourly pay with room for advancementExposure to complex commercial and industrial systemsOngoing training and technical developmentTeam‑focused culture with high standards and accountability
