Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team located in Tukwila, WA.This employment opportunity is an entry level position with Boeing’s Defense & Space System (BDS) Supplier Quality team. Our Supplier Quality team is located in the greater Seattle Area. BDS Supplier Quality supports several important government and military hardware and modification programs.The successful candidate for this job will work in a fast paced, dynamic team environment and will assume the role of a Supplier Quality Coordination focal for quality issues and communication between Boeing’s supply chain and the programs. The candidate will work with our site procurement; engineering and quality representatives to identify and validate Boeing's quality requirements are flowed throughout the supply chain. The selected individual will work in an atmosphere rich with career development opportunities obtained by mentoring, coaching and team building with other motivated and talented quality specialists.Candidate will be introduced to and develop skills in such areas as: ISO9000/AS9100 Quality Requirements, Team work, Leadership skills, Project Management skills and the importance of Communication. They will also develop an understanding of Boeing’s supply chain management concepts. Boeing is very proactive in supporting continuous learning and provides several on-hours and off- hours learning opportunities.Position Responsibilities:Supports reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements in the development of quality assurance plans.Assists with maintenance of Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics.Collects data to support analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of routine problems.Collects data to support research and analysis of performance reports to improve process capability.Collects data to support Quality source selection activity.Supports preparation for hardware, software and system level audits.Compiles data for material review disposition.Works under close supervision.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience with MS Office Suite.Experience with computer-based supply systems.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).Experience working with statistical data analysis and presenting the results.Experience in a role that required strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
