🚨 Hiring: Application Engineer – Principal / Sr. Principal Engineer📍 Locations: Ann Arbor, MI | Lowell, MA | Milpitas, CA (Onsite)💼 Full-Time Permanent OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Application Engineer with strong expertise in optoelectronics, photonics, laser diodes, and photodetectors to support customer applications, product integration, and technical troubleshooting activities.🔹 Key Responsibilities:• Provide technical support for optoelectronic and photonic products• Work directly with customers to support product integration and resolve technical issues• Troubleshoot complex device and application-level problems• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and product teams• Support new product introductions and customer deployments• Analyze customer test data and performance trends• Visit customer sites for hands-on technical support and relationship management🔹 Required Skills:• Strong understanding of photonic/optoelectronic devices and RF fundamentals• Hands-on experience with photonic product testing and troubleshooting• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills• Ability to manage multiple technical priorities in a fast-paced environment• Willingness to travel for customer support activities🔹 Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field• 5+ years of experience in optoelectronics/photonics industry• Experience in Applications Engineering or related technical support roles• Experience working with cross-functional and global teamsThis is an onsite opportunity offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
