Functional Test Engineer
Overview
As a Functional Test Engineer at Flex in Milpitas, you will design and maintain cost-effective test methods for AI-enabled systems, supporting product quality across the manufacturing lifecycle. You will troubleshoot complex hardware and software, interpret schematics, and lead diagnostic activities. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, support and improve functional testing solutions, including test plans and diagnosticsOperate and validate diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, automated test systems)Debug, perform failure analysis, and root-cause investigations on complex AI computing systemsInterpret electrical schematics and block diagrams for problem solvingEnsure adherence to electrical manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulationsMentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing improvementsPresent technical and manufacturing issues to internal and external stakeholdersLead cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational excellence
