Job Title: Warehouse AssociateLocation: Rt. 41 & Martin Luther King Driv North Chicago IL 60064Duration: 12 Months of Contract + possible extensionShift Time : (M-F/ 10am-6:30pm)(Mon.- Wed. - 5am-2:30pm/ Thursday - 5am-12:30pm/ Friday 5am-11:30am)(Mon.-Wed. - 8am-5:30pm/ Thursday - 10am-5:30pm/ Friday - 11am-5:30pm)This position is Non-Exempt.Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.Will be performing warehouse job duties such as counting, sorting, and recording of large, heavy-weight stock. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ year previous experience. Performs warehouse operations on the Receiving dock, picks orders, packs order and/or helps with dock processing.Warehouse Associate:Exposure to working in a quality and controlled material environment.Experience: Strong Work history 2+ years in previous roles. Forklift Certification/ Experience a plus - Cherry pickers - Order pickers - Pacer/Dock stocker - Turret Trucks (working in heights) Standup forkliftPreferred Experience: Distribution experience a plus; 3PL experience a plusKey Skills: Demonstrate attention to detail; Demonstrate reliability and initiative; Safety focused. Ability to work in hot and cold environments. Consistently reaching, bending, walking, standing, for long periods of time. Ability to lift 50lbs constantly. Loud environment. Fast passed environment.Shift Details: Flexible schedules between 5am - 6:30pm, can be accommodateSteel toe shoes are required in the warehouse*Important note; New Hires are required to complete *** s forklift training before they would be allowed to use the equipment.
