Job Description:
Seeking an experienced AWS DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer to support mission-critical enterprise applications, microservices deployments, cloud infrastructure, automation, and production releases. Telecom domain experience, especially former Verizon experience, is highly preferred.
Required Skills:
7+ years deploying Java / Spring Boot microservices in Kubernetes environments.4+ years of AWS Cloud experience.3+ years of Kubernetes, Docker, cluster management, and containerization.
Terraform, Cloud:
Formation, YAML scripting, and infrastructure automation.
CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git/Stash, and Fortify.3+ years of Linux/Unix and Apache Tomcat.
Agile development and DevOps practices.
Oracle Database, complex SQL queries, and performance tuning.
Application monitoring, troubleshooting, security compliance, and SOX audit requirements.
Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
Preferred Skills:
Telecom domain / Verizon experience.
Kafka, IBM MQ, JSON, Apache Camel, and Apigee.
LLM integration with Java/Spring Boot microservices.
Agentic AI and generative AI tools.
