Epic Project Manager (Operations + IT)

Insight Global is seeking an Epic Project Manager to support a perioperative Refuel initiative at an enterprise-level academic health system in Maryland. This consultant will partner closely with operational and IT leadership to drive standardized workflows across multiple member organizations as the system moves back to Epic Foundation. The role will support three primary workstreams within the perioperative space: patient optimization (preparing patients for surgery), block management (including the transition to Epic Marketplace and coordination across teams), and patient throughput focused on efficiency.This Project Manager will be responsible for operational readiness, high-level timeline ownership, and coordinating the sequencing of build completion, training, and go-live activities. The role does not include Epic build responsibilities or independent workflow decision-making; instead, the consultant will surface decision points, provide recommendations, and partner with teams to keep initiatives moving forward.The consultant will collaborate with perioperative clinical improvement leadership, nursing innovation leadership, IT application teams, and the PMO.
