Fintech Developer (C#)

The company is a fast-growing fintech firm building next-generation infrastructure for credit markets. Our back office platform handles high-volume reconciliation, position management, and reporting across complex credit products. We are a lean, high-performance team where engineers work directly with business stakeholders and see the impact of their work every day.The RoleWe are looking for a hands-on C# engineer to join our engineering team. You will own the development and maintenance of reconciliation systems for credit products — ensuring positions, cash flows, and transactions are accurate, timely, and auditable. This is a core operations-facing role with direct exposure to trading, finance, and operations teams.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain systems for credit products (loans, bonds, derivatives)Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines supporting daily workflowsIdentify and resolve breaks between internal systems and counterparty/custodian recordsCollaborate directly with operations, finance, and trading teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutionsSupport and enhance position management, cash management, and P&L reporting modulesParticipate in code and design reviews; contribute to system architecture improvementsTroubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution in a fast-paced environmentRequirements3–5 years of hands-on C# development experience in a financial services or fintech environmentStrong SQL skills — complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuningExperience with back office systems: reconciliation, position keeping, cash management, or accountingFamiliarity with mortgage loans is strongly preferredAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities in a production environmentStrong communication skills — comfortable working directly with non-technical operations and finance usersUS Citizen or Green Card holder; must be able to work onsite in Greenwich, CTNice to HaveExperience with fixed income or structured credit platforms (e.g., WSO, Geneva, Calypso, Orchestrade or similar)Exposure to trade lifecycle management or settlements workflowsFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and version control (Git)Prior work in a start-up or high-growth fintech environmentWhat We Offer$140,000 – $160,000 base salary commensurate with experienceFull Healthcare and matching 401k20% performance-based bonusDirect exposure to senior leadership and meaningful ownership from day oneCollaborative, low-bureaucracy environment with a high-caliber teamOpportunity to shape the architecture of a growing credit technology platform
