SAP Data Migration & Cutover Lead

Position: SAP Data Migration & Cutover LeadLocation: Chilton, Wisconsin (Onsite)Duration: 6+Months Contract C2C/W2Location is Chilton, WI (Can drive from Appleton, Green bay, Madison, Milwaukee), we may find resources from these locations.Role Overview: The Data Migration & Cutover Lead will serve as the primary onshore point of accountability for all data migration and cutover activities within an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud rollout program. This individual will coordinate and guide both the internal project team and the consulting team, ensuring high-quality ETL execution from legacy systems into S/4HANA Public Cloud. The role demands strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and hands-on technical knowledge of SAP Data Migration tooling.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end data migration planning, execution, and cutover management for S/4HANA Public Cloud rollout projects across US plantsCoordinate and guide internal project stakeholders and external consulting resources throughout the migration lifecycleValidate and govern ETL processes from legacy systems to S/4HANA Public Cloud, ensuring data integrity and completenessDefine, review, and validate relevancy rules for migration objects to ensure only relevant and clean data is migratedGuide and supervise extraction and transformation activities performed in SAP DatasphereOversee and validate the load of migration objects into the SAP Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) in S/4HANA Public CloudDevelop and maintain the cutover plan, including go-live checklists, mock cutover exercises, and go-live execution coordinationIdentify data quality risks and issues early; drive resolution with appropriate stakeholdersAct as the escalation point for migration-related issues during project execution and hypercareCollaborate with functional leads, technical architects, and client data owners to ensure alignment on migration scope and approachRequired Qualifications:8+ years of SAP project experience with a strong focus on data migrationProven track record of leading data migration workstreams on multiple full-cycle SAP implementations or rolloutsHands-on experience with SAP Data Migration CockpitSolid understanding of S/4HANA Public Cloud data model and migration constraintsExperience defining and validating data relevancy and filtering rules for migration objectsStrong expertise in ETL processes including extraction from legacy systems, data transformation, and load into SAPExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills able to interface confidently with client senior managementExperience leading and coordinating cross-functional and cross-geography teamsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP Datasphere for data transformation and migration preparationFamiliarity with S/4HANA Public Cloud upgrade cycles and migration best practicesExperience with manufacturing domain migration objects: Material Master, BOM, Routing, Business Partner, Open Sales OrdersSAP certification in data migration or related areaPrior experience supporting plant-level rollouts within a global SAP templateSoft Skills:Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyProactive problem-solving approach and ability to work under tight cutover timelines
