Our team works to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals of all backgrounds to share vibrant experiences in nature.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site Outdoor Adventure Guide role located in Dallas, TX. The Outdoor Adventure Guide will plan, organize, and lead outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, rock climbing, and team-building exercises. You'll have full autonomy over which trips you lead, the trip is always free to you, and the pay is based on the trip type, length, and number of participants. Responsibilities include ensuring participant safety, providing environmental education, guiding groups through various terrains, and maintaining equipment. The guide will also assist in developing itineraries and promoting sustainable outdoor practices among participants.QualificationsExpertise in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and rock climbing, with knowledge of safety protocols and best practices.Strong leadership and team-building skills to effectively guide and engage diverse groups in outdoor settings.Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver environmental education and instructions in a clear and engaging manner.Experience in planning and organizing outdoor programs, including route mapping, logistics, and risk assessment.Basic first aid and CPR certification; wilderness first responder certification is a plus.Ability to handle outdoor equipment and perform minor maintenance or repairs when needed.Passion for the outdoors and a commitment to promoting environmental sustainability.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying outdoor conditions as required by the role.
