Job DescriptionConducts investigations of CRA licensed businesses alleged to be in violation of the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act (MMFLA), Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA), Marihuana Tracking Act (MTA), Industrial Hemp Research and Development Act, or the associated administrative rules on a statewide basis. Conducts interviews of relevant witnesses, obtains evidence to support or disapprove an allegation in accordance with the rules of evidence and the Administrative Procedures Act. Conducts field inspections relating to potential violations of the MMFLA, MRTMA, MTA, IHRDA or administrative rules. May be required to testify in administrative hearings or other legal proceedings.NOTE: The Cannabis Regulatory Agency is seeking candidates to fulfill the role of Regulation Agent responsible for primarily working in the following counties:Primary County – D2: Oakland, Macomb, WayneSecondary County – D3: Arenac, Bay, Midland, Gladwin, Saginaw, Shiawassee, Genessee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Sanilac, Tuscola, HuronThe Regulation Agent may occasionally be asked to assist in other counties based on operational needs.
