If you are looking for exciting career opportunities with growth potential, come and join the team at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital!What will you be doing:The Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit.Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients.Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.Answers phones and call lights.Ensures unit is stocked with supplies.Assists patient transporter as needed.Other duties as assigned.Shift = Nights, 7pm to 730am*Part Time = 2-Shifts per week*QualificationsExperience Requirements:Minimum 6-months to 1-year of nursing assistant or related experience, two (2) plus years preferred.Required to have experience in acute care setting.Educational/Certification Requirements:High School Diploma/GED.Current BLS required. (BCLS certification preferred).Certified Nursing Assistant. (preferred)
