Analysts will directly support senior bankers and are expected to handle a high level of responsibility in the execution of regular financings, distressed financing and restructuring transactions. Analysts work on small deal teams and have direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Analysts bear responsibility for providing the rigorous analysis that supports the advice provided to clients. Analysts are expected to embrace a fast-paced environment, a high-level of responsibility and desire to grow their role in the team over time.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze companies, industries, historical financial statements and prospective financial informationDevelop financial models, build cash flow projections and perform valuation analysesOrganize and executing due diligence processesConduct industry and company researchPrepare presentations and other materials for JPCG and its clientsRequirementsQualificationsExceptional attention to detailUS work authorizationAbility to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environmentUndergraduate degree from a top-tier institution and stellar academic recordPrior experience working as an Analyst within a bulge-bracket, major or boutique investment bank is preferred (prior experience in restructuring, leveraged finance or debt capital markets is ideal)Also open to Financial / Management Consultants who wish to transition to investment bankingStrong quantitative and financial statement analysis skillsExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and other financial information tools (e.g., Capital IQ, etc.)BenefitsAnnual discretionary bonus 20 days holidayCompany 401K scheme Private medical, vision and dental scheme with a range of additional insurances and wellbeing benefits
