As an Application Developer Level 3 on this team, you will serve as an embedded CNO software engineer developing capabilities that operators depend on in real time. You will design, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions for emerging mission needs, working side by side with analysts, operators, and technical experts. From there, you may dive into reverse engineering a target system, prototype a new capability, or enhance an existing toolset to improve operational effectiveness. You will iterate quickly, validate solutions against real constraints, and deliver deployable tools that perform in mission environments. Throughout the day, you will coordinate with leadership and teammates, provide support for fielded capabilities, and continuously adapt to new technologies and challenges.Minimum QualificationsClearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)Citizenship: Must be a U.S. CitizenEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field plus 12 years of relevant experience ORMaster’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience ORAdditional four years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degreeRequired SkillsExperience developing CNO-specific software for Linux, Windows, or embedded environmentsExpert-level reverse engineering experience, including use of tools such as GhidraStrong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Rust, and GoExperience supporting operational or fielded software systemsDeep experience in vulnerability research and exploit developmentKnowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systemsExperience working with production CNO capabilities and operationsFamiliarity with Git and Subversion version control systemsExperience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and ConfluenceAbility to derive requirements, build prototypes, and deliver deployable solutions within mission constraintsStrong collaboration skills and willingness to learn new technologies rapidlyDesired SkillsExperience with Java, JavaScript, Go, Bash, Assembly (x86/x64), PowerShell, Perl, or C#Cryptologic development experiencePrior experience working directly with mission leadership or stakeholdersTechnology StackC, C++, Python, Rust, Go, Linux, Windows, Embedded Systems, Ghidra, Git, Subversion, Jira, Confluence, Vulnerability Research Tooling, Exploit Development FrameworksCompensation Range: $194,000.00 - $249,000.00 The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
