Senior Group Sales Manager

Hotel Sales ManagerConcentrate efforts in selling all aspects of the Hotel with an absolute focus on Group businessMaintain good working relationship with meeting/event planners and buyersPrepare proposals/contracts in a timely fashionConduct sales visits, site inspections and outside sales callsDevelop new markets and sources of business for Group SalesAttend tradeshows/sales trips both locally and beyondParticipate in daily business review meeting and other hotel meetings as appropriateGenerate ideas for marketing of product such as meeting packages and promotional offersTake up special assignments as instructed by Director of SalesWork closely with colleagues in the group sales department & meetings and event planning deptMaintain close communication with the Director of SalesMaintain effective communication channel with Revenue Team and Reservations ManagerFollow up with clients and coordinate with internal operations department until contract is signedAttend and contribute to sales meetingsRegular update on competitors and market intelligence and shares the information with sales teamRegular update on Trade shows and shares the information with sales team for follow upRegular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the hotel from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this positionAssimilate into The New York Palace culture through understanding, supporting and participating in and embracing all elements of our Vision, Core Values and our Pillars of ServiceAlways looking out for the best interest of the hotel, guests, staff and ownershipPay range: $110,000 - $115,000 per year
