REGISTERED NURSE - ER - FT - DAYS

DescriptionResponsible for patient care in the Emergency Department including assessment, treatment, discharge planning, education and other duties.RequirementsJob RequirementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with three (3) years Registered Nurse experience within the last 48 months and 12 to 18 months of acute/critical care experience preferredCurrent Colorado RN LicenseAbilities to follow the Hospital policies and procedures2-5 years previous experience preferredEDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:Graduate of an accredited nursing programCurrent ENPC or PALS or within six months of hire.TNCC within one year of hire.Current BLS and ACLS required upon hire.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:Continuous movement throughout the hospitalIntermittent bending, kneeling, and squattingContinuous standingAbility to lift up to 30% of your body weightAbility to read and understand EnglishAbility to communicate verbally and in writingAbility to interact with physicians, patients, families and staff in a professionalmanner in stressful situations.Ability to maintain matters of a confidential natureAbility to remain calm in crisis situations
