Maintenance Assistant

CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction.We are currently looking for a motivated, conscientious and dedicated full-time Maintenance Assistant to help maintain CHC Facilities.Duties Include:Maintains CHC parking lots by removing snow, leaves and other debris, trash pick-up, etc.Light maintenance to include, light bulb changes, window cleaning, furniture repair, office and equipment moves, restock supplies.Pressure washing CHC buildings and walkways as directed by supervisor. Housing – unit clean out and preparing units for MIR (move in ready) including painting and cleaning as needed.Assist with maintaining landscaping as needed.Starting rate of pay: $17.00Although the normal schedule will be 7:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday, there may be occasional evening and weekend hours as projects or emergencies arise.Minimum Requirements: Must have High School Diploma. Must have the ability to lift and carry large objects.
