Radiology Tech Location: Milwaukee, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,412 per week Shift Information: Nights - 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3rd Thursday and Friday, or Friday and Saturday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: One year of current clinical experience OR clinical student experience License: Current State license as a Radiographer Certifications: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology, Current Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification Must-Have: - Self-motivated - Ability to organize and prioritize well - Flexibility to reorganize priorities when emergencies arise Description: Prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology. Operates imaging equipment while adhering to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. Utilizes appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards. Supports organizational excellence initiatives. Provides effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Explains procedures to patients. Interviews patients to obtain personal medical history and documents this information. Assists patients throughout the examination process. Thanks patients at the conclusion of exams. Provides radiation protection to self and patients in accordance with safety standards. Positions patients and selects technical factors to produce high-quality images. Ensures correct image identification and proper annotation. Reviews each study for technical accuracy. Collaborates with other staff to ensure appropriate scheduling and throughput of exams. Assists in transporting patients as needed. Communicates with radiologists and ordering providers during exams. Approves images and archives to PACS. Performs PACS reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner. Documents fluoro time and estimated skin exposure for fluoroscopic studies. Demonstrates proficiency in electronic health records systems. Follows workflow from order entry and verification to end exam. Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling and shift rotations to support departmental needs. Proactively seeks opportunities to increase efficiency within the department. Offers assistance to team members as needed. Maintains cleanliness of the work area and exam rooms. Provides a positive learning environment for staff, students, and visitors. Acts as a mentor and role model. Assists in onboarding of new employees. Observes equipment for malfunctions and reports issues. Follows proper procedures for addressing equipment issues.
