Product Manager II, AI SDLC TransformationDenver, CO - Onsite 4 Days/WeekLong-Term W-2 ContractAbout the ClientOur client is in the middle of a major push to bring AI into how its development organization works - across coding, testing, debugging, QA, and every other stage of the software development lifecycle. This is not a pilot. This is a scaled, enterprise-wide transformation affecting thousands of engineers.About the RoleAs the AI Product Manager on this team, you will work directly with senior leadership and the R&D principal engineer to shape that strategy. You will evaluate AI tools and platforms, define how they get built into developer workflows, and help determine what the path to adoption looks like at scale. You are front-of-pipeline on this initiative - the strategic driver who understands both the technology and the developer experience well enough to make the right calls. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who is already operating in the AI space and wants to help define how a major enterprise organization builds AI into its foundation.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Director of AI and senior leadership to define and evolve the AI adoption strategy for our client's developer organizationWork closely with the Principal Engineer (R&D) to evaluate AI tools, developer platforms, and emerging capabilities for integration into the SDLCDefine how AI workflows get prioritized, sequenced, and built into the development pipelineServe as a strategic bridge between leadership, R&D, and cross-functional technical teams (Platform, Security, Data)Manage the product backlog for the AI SDLC program and drive prioritization decisions based on developer impact and business valueSupport the Developer Advocate in translating product strategy into training, documentation, and rollout programsCommunicate program direction, priorities, and progress to stakeholders clearly and consistentlyQualifications5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a technical or developer-tools environmentHands-on familiarity with AI tools and platforms, particularly in a software development context (Amazon Kiro, Quick, AWS Bedrock, or similar)Background in software development or deep, sustained exposure to engineering teams - this person needs to understand what developers actually need from AI toolingExperience working with R&D or principal engineering teams to evaluate and implement new technologiesComfort operating at the strategy level while staying close enough to the technical details to make credible decisionsStrong communication skills across both technical and executive audiencesAbility to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving, ambiguous environmentPreferred SkillsExperience driving technology adoption programs in large enterprise organizationsFamiliarity with cloud-native AI services (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)Background in developer productivity, DevOps, or SDLC toolingPrior experience in telecommunications or other complex regulated industries
