In this role, you will focus on generating leads, cultivating new client relationships, and supporting the sales process across assigned regions and markets. You'll be a key player in bringing new business to the firm and supporting client satisfaction through a hands‐on, consultative approach.Role & ResponsibilitiesServe as a knowledgeable point of contact to explain YA's service offerings in clear, practical termsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through client outreach, networking, referrals, and industry eventsConduct introductory and follow‐up meetings with prospective clients to promote service offerings.Build and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, owners, construction managers, and other stakeholders in the construction industryCoordinate client meetings, lunch & learns, and presentations in collaboration with technical team membersTrack leads, opportunities, and client activity in CRM system and prioritize outreach effortsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff from business development to service deliveryCollaborate with marketing and sales teams to launch outreach campaigns and generate leadsMonitor industry trends, competitive activity, and client feedbackDevelop and execute account plans to drive retention, expansion, and long‐term valueBuild and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic prospects through research, referrals, and outbound engagementRepresent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and eventsPartner with executive leadership to align business development efforts with company growth objectivesQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management preferredExposure to or strong interest in construction, architecture, engineering, or preconstruction services preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable conducting outreach, leading meetings, and speaking to technical service offeringsOrganized, self‐driven and goal‐oriented, with a strong internal compass for achievementProactive and forward‐looking, always seeking the next opportunity with clarity and intentProven ability to stay persistent and effective through lengthy sales cycles and competitive environmentsMaintains composure under pressure and adapts quickly to changing prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with CRM tools a plusWillingness to travel for client visits, events, and meetingsFraudulent Recruitment AlertPlease be vigilant against fraudulent recruitment attempts.
